About

Dr Sarah Holper is a consultant neurologist, author and science communicator.

After years of training to speak fluent doctor jargon, she now spends much of her time translating evidence-based health information into language ordinary humans can actually understand and use. Through her books, podcast and media work, she explores the fascinating science behind the human body, separating genuine evidence from popular myths and reminding people that biology is usually stranger than fiction.

When she's not in the clinic or writing, she's probably reading obscure nineteenth-century medical papers in search of the next unbelievable story.
